Commemorating the four fallen

Warleggan played its part in remembering the outbreak of the First World War exactly 100 years ago with the planting of four oak trees in memory of the four men from the parish who lost their lives.  The ceremony, held at 6pm on Monday 4th August 2014, took place at the new graveyard and parking area at St Bartholomew Church, Warleggan.

Young and old played their part in planting the oak saplings…
