An informal gathering where women from the parish or nearby are welcome to pop in to any sessions… Meetings are held monthly, third Thursday of the month, 7.30pm, Jubilee Hall in Mount.

WISH…WI-ish…It’s happening!!
Well…20 women of Warleggan and Mount and further afield turned up for our exploratory meeting on March 16th, and decided to form an informal, pay as you go, do what you want group of local women who will meet monthly to share skills, experiences, trips, walks, local environmental projects and whatever else takes our fancy! Several others have signed up since.
We will meet in the Jubilee Hall on the third Thursday of the month, usually at 7.30 in the evening, but we will try to have some daytime events when we can. By the time you read this, our first event, a social wine tasting and getting to know each other, organised by Alex, will have taken place and we will be planning our summer timetable.
If you are a local (ish) woman who would like to get together with people like you, and have fun, please contact Liz L. on 0741 999 1182, preferably by WhatsApp, and I’ll add you to the group. We will have to charge £2 to cover hall rent, and we’ll invest in some tea and coffee. Some craft based activities may cost a bit more, as will trips out, but there’s no membership fee, so you can get involved as much or as little as you’d like.
And if you have an idea for an event, bring it along! We’ll add it to the WISH list…
