It rained the days beforehand, and rained the days afterwards, but the sun shone on the day of our New Year Walk held on Monday 2 January 2023. Organised by the History Group, and guided by its chairman John K, the walk started at the Jubilee Hall, up through Mount and then down to the site of Cardinham Castle, before returning to the Jubilee Hall for a welcome soup and desserts.
